MARS USBDCam aka USB Dual Mode Camera aka "Credit Card" Camera

The camera in question.

This low-resolution miniature camera uses a chipset that appears to be used by a multitude of other, similar cameras. The one I'm using is roughly the size of a credit card.

Operation Appears as standard video capture source for webcam functionality. Requires special software to download images.

Problems Webcam mode doesn't work: plain black image is displayed.

Driver Instructions

Unzip the above file into a fresh directory. Run setup.exe and the software will be installed.

Plug in the camera, and when prompted indicate that you want to install the drivers manually.

You should be prompted for a disk; at this point browse to the directory you unzipped the above files to and let Windows work its magic.

At this point the drivers should be installed and ready for action!
